    [N/A] I Believe I can Fly
Quest Overview- Universally known in the most literal sense of the word. After a few moments or even a few years you are starting to get the hang of utilizing your Ki as you see fit. Now it's time for a little experimentation. Time to teach yourself how to take flight.

Rewards: Flight through Ki usage "Bukujutsu"- Flight or "Bukujutsu" as it is called on some parts of Earth is the ability to expel Ki in a fashion that allows one to become Airborne Maintain their height and then manipulate their Ki to increase speed and ignite Propulsion in any direction the user chooses

With his ship totally destroyed, Rio was in need of a better means of transportation. The tiny purple creature flapped his wings softly as he tried to take to the air, but found it was of little use. They might work on a planet with lower gravity, but on Earth he was too heavy to fly. At least, he was too heavy to fly using his wings. He had fought a few creatures capable of flying via ki in the past, but had never been inclined to try it himself, having made use of his lev-rings. But they too had been destroyed in the crash of his ship, and it seemed that the accursed imp would need to become a bit more self-sufficient. Rio took a deep breath as he tried to clear his mind, letting the soft wind of the Earth plains flow over him. He felt his skin and fur tingle as he let his ki rise in synch with it, the energy and breeze seeming to join together around him. He let the aura of ki fully surround him, before forcing it downward. In a rush Rio lifted into the air, the wind feeling more intense at this altitude. As Rio began to fly he did a corkscrew spin through the air, before his ki fell out. The tiny creature plummeted, his wings flapping by instinct to slow the fall. He was startled at first, but he quickly rose his ki back up as he fell, and the blazing aura returned near the ground, dirt and rocks blasting away from the force of it as it was reignited. Rio rose back into the air and flipped twice, before landing once again. After a moment to catch his breath, he took off once again, finding it much easier this time. Up ahead the small creature could see a few cliff-faces, and decided to try out his new skill. With more speed Rio took to the air, soaring towards the cliff face, aimed right for it's edge. At the last second he veered down, letting his ki graze the bottom of it. He then turned slightly, heading to the next. This time he curved upward, letting the ki from his underbelly rustle the grass as he flew through it. He continued his course through the cliffs, bobbing over and under the six of them in alternating patterns. Finally he cut out his ki, letting himself freefall towards the ground. He waited until right before impact before kicking it in, causing himself to gently land once again. He was certain that he had it now, and that being marooned on this planet would not be nearly so boring as he had feared.

    [Earth] Find Roshi's Magazines
Quest Overview: Here is your first tutorial quest. Master Roshi has once again lost his 3 magazines lying around his island. He needs your help to retrieve all three magazines and give it back to him. Each magazine is scattered anywhere along the island, why it could drift off to sea and you dont even know it!
Requirements: Must be on Planet Earth.
    Reward: +500 PL

With his new ability, Rio had been enjoying a bit of sightseeing around the planet. He'd yet to visit any major cities, but had noticed a small house atop an island. He recognized it from a description he'd heard in a small nearby town, the home of the famous Master Roshi. He wasn't one to train with others very often, but the master had quite a reputation, and it could be a way to pass the time. Descending from the air, Rio flapped his small wings twice, landing softly on the beach. He was just in time to hear a startled "What?!" from the house. Rio rushed over to the door and pulled it open, having expected an attack or something. The last thing he needed was his potential tutor getting killed before he could learn anything. Granted Rio still intended to eat him when he was done. To the little creatures surprise, he found the old man tearing open drawers and cabinets, throwing things around in every direction. "Where are they?!" Rio floated over to Roshi, looking up at him a bit irritated. "Uhh, your Master Roshi right? I was hoping you could train..." At this point Rio had to dodge a few tossed shirts. "Not right now, we have an emergancy!" Rio was still unsure what he could be looking for, and did a little arch in the air. "What are you looking for anyway?" Roshi finally paused, pushing up his sunglasses. "Hmm... you want to be trained? Then fine, I'm missing three magazines, if you can find them, I'll teach you." Rio put his elbows in the air as he floated up with a grin. "Easy, I'll be right back." At full speed Rio rushed through the halls of the small house, searching for the three magazines. He found the first sticking halfway out between two shelves, and pulled it free. "So what kind of..." Rio quickly realized what it was. "Man, is this guy really Master Roshi?" Pausing a moment, Rio flipped through it quickly. "I still don't get it, not even any wings, meh, no accounting for taste." With one found he zipped back to the first room and set it down. Next he flew through the window, literally, and began to cruise around the island. He noticed a second halfway buried in the sand, near a beach chair, and rushed down to it. He grabbed the second, and set it in the chair. "Now where could the third... oh man!" He saw something bobbing in the water, and flew over towards it. It was soggy, but clearly what he was looking for. Grabbing it from the water, he let his ki flow around at full force, blowing as much water from it as possible. It didn't entirally fix it, but it was a help. With all three found he, grabbed the second as well, and hurried back to Roshi. "Ok, I got 'em. So now you'll train me?" Roshi nodded a bit as he looked through his sunglasses. "Yes yes, I'll train you... as soon as you fix my window!"

    Learning "Cosmic Collapse"

Though he had agreed to train Rio, Roshi had informed him that he would be busy for a day or two, and Rio would simply have to self train. Though at least he had a place to stay on Roshi's island for the time being. Under the early morning sun, Rio sat on the beach, letting his ki flow up through him. His wings flapped slowly as he let his ki build, preparing to revive his signiture attack. As his ki reached it's peak, Rio floated up, and turned his aura inside out. The pocket dimension inside of Rio's body surged through, and the ki glowed with a mixture of black and purple light, growing into a large ball in front of Rio. The tiny creature placed his hands around it, and two small beams shot from the orb, slicing through nearby palm trees. A gleam then came from the orb as he rose into the air and threw it downward. The orb broke the water with a great splash, before exploding. Sending up a shower of water in all directions. With that Rio collapsed back into the beach, sitting up rather lathargically. Though his most powerful technique, the Cosmic Collapse took a lot out of Rio. It was powered by the energy of his inner universe, which left him far more fatigued then a normal ki attack. He softly tapped the sand with one paw as his wings gradually flapped, his energy slowly returning. He was too tired to use the move again yet, but as soon as his energy returned he would prepare another. He had to get used to the power expenditure, if he was ever going to be able to use it in a fight. Rio took deep breaths as he let his ki build, before once again drawing on his inner space. The same glowing ball of dark energy formed, this time the two smaller bursts of ki striking the water, before Rio thrust his paws forward, sending the ball flying directly ahead. Though it was too far to see the impact, a small plume of smoke in the distance showed that it had made contact with land. Rio did not fall this time, and instead simply floated back down. He still had a ways to go, but it was at least getting easier. Rio dozed off after a short time, and slept out in the early morning sun for nearly an hour. Fortunately his fur prevented a sunburn. But as he opened his eyes, he noticed an enormous bird flying through the sky. He considered it a perfect target for his technique, and prepared to attack, but the bird was thinking the same thing. The massive creature screeched as it dove from the sky, talons gleaming above Rio. He quickly dispersed the attack, it would take far too long to charge, and instead flew upward in front of it, quickly firing down an energy blast instead. The bird was knocked back, feathers tumbling down, but was only stunned for a moment. The black condor-like creature regained it's barings as it rushed Rio, tackling him at full speed. The small creature flipped twice in the air, before plummeting down to the beach. Sand was blown in all directions as he crashed, slowly trying to push up. His wings flapped a few times as he took back to the air. The bird had knocked him down, but it had also made a mistake. It had given him the time and range he needed. Rio growled lowly as he once again summoned up a Cosmic Collapse, two small dark bolts firing from the sphere. They struck the bird in mid-dive, stunning it just long enough for Rio to hurl the ball at it. The dark orb smashed into the bird, smoke, ki, and feathers flying in every direction. The bird fell to the ground with a crash, smoke rising up from it, as Rio dropped to his feet. The little creature licked his lips as he rushed over to the bird. He hadn't gotten the training he wanted, but with a new technique, and a meal this big, he wasn't complaining.
