Inactivity

Lets face it, only a handful of us are actually on every day, and then a handful out of that actually does something. Is this site getting inactive? Because, the majority of the members barely even log in, and the majority of those who do log in on't do anything. Is this site going to die?

Maybe, it depends on it's members and the owner.

It shouldn't die, considering it is one of the ONLY one liner RPGs around.

Practically every subforum that can have activity, does as far as I see. The MAJORITY of the members register for the sake of finding a DBZ website, with only the on-site spur of getting into it, but thereafter do absolutely nothing, literally, no posts, nothing. Every place, from past experience, that I've seen has dips here and there, its just the matter of recognizing everyone has their own lives to live, and keeping not only their seat reserved, but the light on so they're just as welcome when time allows them more freedom to post more.

Maybe this site will die, maybe it won't. But alexandria is correct. Due to my inactivity and lack of work around here has decreased the activity around the forums. But lets face it, this site won't die since it's the only standard site that's good around here.

Alex, what do you mean the onlyone liner RPGs? All ofmy sites accept all forms of RPing, my sites has very few members, but there active. And were having one heck of a battle, my character could of died.

Also, Bardock what I mean is... you've got RPGs like Chubbs and Alex's DBZ RPG which are considered Novella and VERY picky about who they accept and what the rules are. Neversaga is unique in that sense. You guys accept anyone and anything regardless of what skill level they are. Therefore... the younger generation of roleplayers that are just starting have a place to go and some of the old skool ones that don't feel like writing novels anymore have a place to go. What neversaga stands for is something unique and unique is a good thing. Therefore as long as the staff are dedicated and a few strong members stick around then it won't die. It is an ideal ... when I was 14 way back in the day we roleplayed in yahoo chat. It was my generations starting point. Yahoo chat now is hell filled with porn bots, neversaga should be the new starting point.. so some day some of you younger roleplayers will look back on Neversaga and be like "God those were some good days.... remember where we started at?" The only problem I had with Neversaga was the unfair boosts certain admins were giving to certain members. I don't roleplay here because the one time I did I felt like it was wasted effort. But that doesn't mean i'm not a member of the community, because I do pop in to see what's going on and how people I do like are doing. Like Jawaii for example, I really like him.

Bardock, another thing.. while your site accepts all and this site does as well.. it is one thing to accept all and it's another to keep going on the site and for it to stay alive. I would say that Neversaga is the largest ones around of it's kind.

I would not really call this a good site for one-liner roleplaying.  It's discouraged, and noone will ever give a bonus for it, and almost all quests require far, far more than that to even just get the base rewards.

Compared to what I'm used to Mel, it is. The whole point of this site is:

I'm sorry to burst your bubble, but this isn't anywhere near to Alex or Chubbs level of roleplaying this is more simple and laid back. Oh and of course you can't resist getting your two cents in even when i'm being nice. XD But then again that's why you're known as the bitch of the site. =P Go grade some roleplays. I'll be waiting for my private message that attempts to tell me I'm a horrible person and that i'm banned. =P Like I said, I do have friends on here so I do lurk. Due to the level of bias however, I do not roleplay here.

Sorry to burst your bubble Alexandria, but I don't give a shit about that quote from Zx.  Never did.  When I can, I actively go about helping people make their posts better, become better roleplayers, put more substance into their posts.  While this forum may have more lax word count than some, that means little to nothing in the end-- the most successful posters are going to have high word counts regardless while those whom post comparatively little are going to get shafted.  Essentially, the word count or line count or whatever is not enforced specifically by the rules, but instead enforced by the reward system.

Then what is the point of having the quote on the message board if all you're going to do is bury it into the dirt and do the exact opposite of what this site is about? Tell me Melissia, do you enjoy being the 'Sites Bitch'? You seem like one of those types that doesnt care who hates you or not. Such a sad lonely world if you're that kind of person.

I understand you have to defend your staff because you work with them but I didn't come on here for trouble. I simply came to lurk and I only speak out when I dont agree with something and Melissia's actions toward Alexandria were rather snooty and snotish especially since Alexandria only had good things to say about the site when she posted in this thread. Had she have bashed the site I would've defended you guys but I seen nothing wrong with her words and I'm defending her.

And yes we left because of the power boosts and I'm glad you got that resolved but like I said, you have a right to defend your Admin even if she is in the wrong but it doesn't mean I have to stay silent. I dont have a single problem with you Legend and you're the one Admin that I did praise as a good guy on here but forgive me if I was out of line in defending the right against the wrong.

Also if you havent noticed this site is collapsing which I honestly hate seeing since it was my first site rpg back in like 3 years, so to speak but with the attitude Melissia is portraying who will stick around? By you asking us to leave only adds to the downward spiral that this site is experiencing. I would love to become apart of the rping experience on here again but that'll never happen until Mel kicks the attitude.
