Priorities of the Game - What you need to know. Empty Priorities of the Game - What you need to know.

Post by admin Sat Aug 01, 2009 2:54 pm

The main status of the game, it doesn't mean your condition or health. Condition/health is acted and played by your character in role playing. This feature is to display your overall fighting strength. Powerlevel can be used to acess to locations, doing advanced quests/sagas, and especially battles. In battles, if your opponent or you has a higher slope of powerlevel, one of you will have a better chance at winning.

    Gaining PL:
There are several ways to gaining powerlevel. Such as,
    - Battling (See battling guide about PLs)
    - Quests (There will display the amount of PL rewarded for a quest.)
    - Events, such as tournaments
    - Roleplaying/Training
    - etc., under an admin's discretion.

The amount of PL you gain in role playing depends on how much you role play. Sure, we'll give you the minimum of reward, but you can get more from writing more. A bit of recognition to the literate role players. (; We'll say that each bonus paragraph of role playing is around a 1000.

From now on, pl multipliers are B-A-N-N-E-D. That means no more any of "Raises PL by x2" or anything like that no matter what difficulty it is.

Priorities of the Game - What you need to know. Empty Pvp Combat

Post by TheRealZX Mon Dec 21, 2009 7:42 pm

Pvp basically means player versus player. This feature allows you to interact with other players and quarrel with them in an epic battle. Everything that happens is based on role playing and what you get out of it is what you literally get such as an item. Whatever type of battle it is depends on the competitors it can be a death match, a friendly spar, anything pertaining to a fight.

Now here's the complicated part. Since this is a reaction based rpg we grade on what happens with your character the more near death experience a character faces will most likely be how much pl he/she will get. An admin will determine how much that user(s) will get. Of course, the amount of pl you will get will most likely be the range of how much pl each combatant has. For example, if each as around 1000 then most likely each reward will be around a 1000.

Priorities of the Game - What you need to know. Empty Quests

Post by TheRealZX Mon Dec 21, 2009 7:43 pm

Characters may request on doing a mission or otherwise called quests. Characters may request them here at unlimited amount. But they will have to keep track of the quest they are taking. To take a quest, go here - https://neversaga.forumotion.com/quests-f9/. You may not role play in that forum. To roleplay the quest, go here - https://neversaga.forumotion.com/roleplaying-f2/.

Each quest requires something. Like say alignment or a location. If you do not meet the requirement, you are not eligible in taking the quest.

After taking and completing the quest, you will be rewarded to whatever is stated in the quest.

Priorities of the Game - What you need to know. Empty Alignment

Post by TheRealZX Mon Dec 21, 2009 7:47 pm

Alignment tells whether or character is pure good or pure evil. There are several ways in gaining either one, in what actions you take. It might be spareing a person or vigourously beaten them to a pulp. To tell someone's alignment, 0 is neutral, above 0 is good, and below zero/negative is evil.

Killing People: This is the one way to gain alignment. If you wish to be more good, you must kill evil characters. If you wish to be more evil, you'll have to kill good people. Each person you kill raises your alignment by 5. Saga NPC's do not count if you will have to assasinate them.

Doing quests: Some quests requires a deed to either be good or bad. Whichever way, an award will gain your alignment.

Characteristic: If you wish to spare a knocked out enemy, you will gain good alignment. If you wish to continue on torturing or viciously hurt your enemy, you will gain evil alignment. We mods/admins will decided what you get.

Whats the point of alignment?: Being an alignment limits and/or features different areas, techniques, etc. to your character.

Priorities of the Game - What you need to know. Empty Special Techniques

Post by TheRealZX Mon Dec 21, 2009 7:47 pm

In the start of the game, you have two special techniques. It's Energy Blast and Power up. What are they?
Energy Blast: The user generates enough energy to emit a large ki blast from his/her hands.
Power Up: When the power is supressed, he/she is able to power up full strength for battle.

Techniques can be used anytime in roleplay. It could be quests, battles, etc. The basics you have are hovering, ki blasts, and other physical attacks.

    When learning a new move
A character can learn a new special move by either:
    - Training. (We mods/admins decide whether we give credit to you or not)
    - Learning it from an experienced character. (Learn it from someone that already knows the attack.)
(Admins/mods have the permission to edit these features.)

If there is a quest already stating the reward of getting a technique, it will the only official way you will get the technique on your own. Training it without someone else experienced or by yourself will create an alternate version of the orginal one, you name it and you describe but cannot be stronger than the original one.

Any techniques you want to know about, please refer to http://dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Techniques

Custom techniques are allowed. Any description, have it on your extended bio.

All characters will start off small, we advise you to have only a couple of techniques listed first because it will require a back up story of how your character got the technique.

Priorities of the Game - What you need to know. Empty Finding the Dragon balls

Post by TheRealZX Mon Dec 21, 2009 7:55 pm

Characters may search throughout the universe for these artifacts. Artifacts like these can grant many things, but each one has a level to it's capacity. Here are the dragonballs you can only find in never ending saga.

    Earth Dragonballs [Located on Earth]
    Namek Dragonballs [Located on Namek]
Black Star Dragonball [Located everywhere in the galaxy. Even floating in space.]

    Finding the Dragonballs
Finding a dragonball is not all lucky and easy going. Unless you have a "Dragon Radar", that can be bought from the Z Mart. The chances of finding an earth/namek dragonball is 5%. The chances of finding a black star dragonball is 1%, which includes having to buy a spaceship and traveling throughout the galaxy. With a radar, for an earth/namek dragonball is 50%, for a black star dragonball is 20%.

We moderators will tell you if or if not you found a dragonball or not.

With Dragonballs, you may be granted a wish. Here is the charts of wishes for each dragonball.
